ABOUT ME

BIO

I'm Sarah, a first year student at The Georgia Institute of Technology and a journalist. I’ve had a passion for storytelling for as long as I can remember. I began crafting my own creative stories as soon as I could write, and took an interest in politics at age four, disobeying my parents to catch glimpses of the news from time to time. I knew I wanted to write, help people, and somehow make  a difference in the world, but I didn’t have a name for my pursuit until much later on. In middle school, I found it: journalism.  I've always been enthusiastic about it because the idea of providing a voice to the voiceless ignites something within me. I want to make an impact on the world. journalism gives me a way to do that, and I'm so excited for the opportunities to pursue my work in the future.
